HOW TO USE OUR WORKOUTS

A Guide on Training using High Intensity Intervals

Training intervals are a great way to vary your training and motivate you to push harder than you would on your own strength.

Each interval lasts for a certain amount of time which can be seen on the interval chart. Each interval will require a certain effort level as you ride through the workout.

Intervals are counted in from 5 seconds before the start and finish so you know when to begin and end.

High intensity interval training (HIIT) is a great way to increase your threshold power and overall performance. During a high intensity interval, ride in a controlled manner and stay in control of your breathing. For an interval to be beneficial you need to be composed in your riding position and ready to recover quickly before the next interval.
